The 4th Session of the 16th People's Congress of Xuzhou City was held from January 8th to 11th. Xie Lingyun, Executive Director of Yiduo Group and General Manager of Xuzhou Fengcheng Salt Chemical Co., Ltd., attended the session as a representative.

Zhuang Zhaolin, Mayor of Xuzhou City, delivered a work report on behalf of the Xuzhou Municipal People's Government to the Congress. In his report, he reviewed the work of 2018, clarified the main goals and tasks for 2019, and pointed out that with a sense of urgency and responsibility, we will vigorously improve our ability to promote development, reform and innovation, and overcome difficulties, striving to build a government that satisfies the people.

Xie Lingyun fully recognized the mission she bears, and with a spirit of high responsibility to the people, she conscientiously exercised the powers granted to her by the Constitution and laws, carefully deliberated on various reports, successfully completed the election tasks, and lived up to the trust of the organization and the people. She submitted two proposals to the Congress: First, "Proposal on adding key monitoring points for chemical enterprises in Fengxian County," suggesting that the municipal government give preferential treatment to Fengxian County in the identification of key monitoring points for chemical enterprises to promote the development of Fengxian's salt and coal chemical industry and "Fengxian's Revitalization." Second, "Proposal on solving the problems of "difficult parking and difficult travel" in the urban area," suggesting that people should be encouraged to choose public transport for short-distance travel, increase parking lot planning, add conspicuous parking lot signs, set up temporary on-street parking spaces, and make reasonable use of idle time slots in the parking lots of enterprises and institutions to solve the problem of "difficult parking and difficult travel" brought about by the city's rapid development.

Before the closing of the congress, Zhou Tiegen, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, delivered a speech. He said that this year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and a crucial year for winning the decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. This congress has determined the goals and tasks and key work of our city's economic and social development this year. We must always adhere to the spirit of struggle and strive to achieve more in hard work and practical work, carry forward the spirit of struggle, inspire responsibility and action, adhere to the leadership from top to bottom, strengthen process control, and steadily promote the development of various undertakings to reach new heights.

After the meeting, Xie Lingyun said that she would keep in mind the original intention of serving the people, further strengthen her sense of political responsibility and mission, continue to care about social development and social issues, and be a qualified people's representative loyal to the Party, concerned about national affairs, and dedicated to the people.
