On May 21, the "Second Jiangsu Development Conference in Wuxi and the Fourth Global Wuxi Business Conference" opened in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Themed "Focusing on High-Quality Development, Gathering Strength for the Construction of New Wuxi," the conference aimed to build a platform for communication and friendship with well-known Wuxi natives and Wuxi businesspeople at home and abroad, establish a long-term mechanism for practical cooperation, and gather wisdom and strength for Wuxi to take the lead in high-quality development in the province. Mr. Xie Jubao, founder of Wuxi Yiduo Investment Development Group Co., Ltd. and president of the Wuxi Chamber of Commerce in the United States, was invited to attend the meeting.

Before the meeting, led by provincial and municipal leaders, Mr. Xie Jubao and more than 50 other Wuxi business representatives who have made outstanding contributions walked along Wuxi Business Avenue, observing the tremendous achievements made in the city's industrial development over the past four years.

Li Xiaomin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Committee and secretary of the Municipal Committee, delivered a keynote speech titled "Jointly Creating a Bright Future for Wuxi, the Splendid Land of Jiangnan." The speech was inspiring and ignited the enthusiasm of overseas fellow countrymen and Wuxi businesspeople to participate in the construction of their hometown. After the meeting, the guests enjoyed the "Splendid Land, Splendid Occasion" art performance. The performance, based on Chinese style, Jiangsu style, and Wuxi characteristics, showcased a festive atmosphere and strong local Wuxi characteristics.

As the president of the Wuxi Chamber of Commerce in the United States, Mr. Xie Jubao cares deeply about the development and construction of his hometown. For many years, he has actively supported social welfare undertakings and is committed to caring for and supporting education. He has donated to middle and primary schools in his hometown on many occasions. Countless students from disadvantaged families who were unable to continue their studies have received assistance from Mr. Xie Jubao, and they are spread throughout China. Mr. Xie Jubao fully and gratuitously built the "Jinma Kindergarten," with a total investment of approximately 18 million yuan. He also established the "Jinma Love Fund," donating 61.72 million yuan to charitable disaster relief and other social welfare undertakings. He has provided financial aid to impoverished students in many places, including Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, and Hoche County, Xinjiang, extending a helping hand to families and children in need, bringing warmth and care to students from poor families and underprivileged households. In 2006, Mr. Xie Jubao was selected as one of the "Top Ten Charitable Figures in Wuxi City" through a public vote. In 2007, he was named a "Jiangsu Province Charity Star." He has also twice received the "Outstanding Contribution Award for the Chinese Charity Cause" from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and was awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Charity Figure."

Being invited to attend the Jiangsu Development Conference made Mr. Xie Jubao feel both the warmth of his hometown and great encouragement. He stated that going out to develop can bring new advantages, innovative development can achieve new strategies, and transformation and development can open up new possibilities. While adapting to economic development trends, real economy enterprises must also uphold the spirit of craftsmanship.
